May 2, 2002 PORTLAND, OR: Pepper gets a clean bill of health! Pepper goes to the doctor for the first time
and the doctor
says everything is progressing right on schedule. She has grown 1 1/4" in
length and gained 1 lb. over her birth weight.

April 28, 2002 ASTORIA, OR: Pepper breaks out! Pepper's family gets out of
the house for the first time since Pepper's birth for a fun-filled outing on the
Oregon coast, and Pepper's first taste at a public event, the annual
Astoria-Warrenton Seafood and Crab Festival.

April 21, 2002 VANCOUVER, WA: Pepper gets named! Tina and Mark make the
announcement in person to Grandma Kathy, Grandma Mary, and Grandpa Jim that they
have decided on an official name for Pepper.
